Loon Capture & Release: This is the loon that we filmed for my WPTZ story two weeks ago. So exciting to see Eric Hanson from the Vermont Center for Ecostudies and his team successfully catch and release the loon back on Lake Champlain. Oddly enough, the spot where Eric releases them is at the waterfront near ECHO where I work. Gail Osherenko filmed this video and posted it on her site, The Vermont Loon Blog.
