BURLINGTON, Vt. — Contrary to what we learned as children, robins really aren’t a sign that spring is on its way. Good thing too because, they have been spotted in large numbers all over the region throughout this winter. Conservation Correspondent Bridget Butler talks with Julie Silverman from ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center about the nomadic nature of the American Robin during the winter season and how they decide where to go based on food resources and snow cover.
